One should probably buy one full license and cloud the rest. And what website? It seems like Adobe has hundreds of product pages each with partial information, so you never know what's definitive and complete. I only ever go about three levels in before I give up and go elsewhere. The CC product page doesn't tell me anything except make me afraid for how work is going to be organized, files are named and versioned, etc.

One issue with cloud licencing I see is that someday you will want to retire, and so at that point you either need to buy the full license or give up your old projects entirely.

Or maybe Adobe will develop a deal where we get to be grandfathered in (so to speak).  :-)

Not sure whether I am grasping the new Adobe upgrade path options fully, can someone explain the benefits of signing up to creative cloud (special intro offer £27.34 a month) where it states that all CS6 apps plus additional cloud based apps can be downloaded and used, as opposed to the CS5 to CS5.5 upgrade offer where they send CS6 as a complimentary upgrade?
If all the apps are available for £27.34 then £46.88 (after first year) a month then surely that is a much more cost effective option working on the basis that there will be a CS upgrade at least once a year?

Best,
Darren
