| Just watched what I could of the launch stream. Seems like CC acts more like DropBox than iCloud (thank goodness!), though it seems as time goes by, OS and app makers seem ever more scornful of project tracking, management and organization. There's almost nothing anyone could tell about our work by looking at a thumbnail gallery, while naming and versioning is incredibly important. I'd also want to know if artists could be locked out of the gallery spaces or posting links - seriously, the bigger the job, the more likely it is we could lose it over something like that. Some clients would really prefer that we lock out all USB and FW peripherals and just about strip-search the artists as they come and go. Last year some knucklehead freelancer took a screenshot with his phone and posted it to Facebook. Oh, man, that was hell, walking it back.

It seems like Adobe has hundreds of product pages each with partial information, so you never know what's definitive and complete. I only ever go about three levels in before I give up and go elsewhere. The CC product page doesn't tell me anything except make me afraid for how work is going to be organized, files are named and versioned, etc. Tim Sassoon SFD Santa Monica, CA

One issue with cloud licencing I see is that someday you will want to retire, and so at that point you either need to buy the full license or give up your old projects entirely.
Or maybe Adobe will develop a deal where we get to be grandfathered in (so to speak). :-)

If all the apps are available for £27.34 then £46.88 (after first year) a month then surely that is a much more cost effective option working on the basis that there will be a CS upgrade at least once a year?
