From: Ed Fuller To: After Effects Mail List Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Having sound problems with the Promise Pegasus RAID and the Apple Thunderbolt display. After awhile any audio playing through the thunderbolt display speakers distorts and crackles when the RAID is actively writing data. Firmware updates to the RAID so far haven't solved the problem. Still haven't tested whether this would affect sound through Blackmagic UltraStudio 3D or AJA T-TAP (or the Matrox box, etc.) since I don't have those devices to test with! Looking forward to the AJA T-TAP because it is affordable. I'd say, be wary of the Promise RAID if you work with sound at all. Which is too bad, because it is blazingly fast.
