Yeah, it's called installing boot camp to load windows :D. Of course you're still SOL for drivers on the mac side, but at least with the two six-pin connectors it will actually fit in a recent mac pro...
seriously though, no, there are no mac drivers for the 680 I'm aware of. PC only at this point. I predict the Mac Pro refresh will be running the GTX 680... in 2015

Do they even make 680s for macs? If they do I'm sure a friend or two of mine would be very interested.
do you have a 680 in a macPro yet?

We have all our products working very well on clean installs of Lion with the Quadro 4000 on the Mac.
Get in touch with me for the latest builds and try then on a clean install of Lion.
Also we have been working with AI + Apple very closely and have the ATI version working in software. Getting there on on the hardware acceleration on ATI Macs
All good on Windows on qualified ATI + NVIDIA cards.
FreeForm V2 (not bundled with AE CS6) has no GPU requirements.
My 2 cents... I really like the GTX 680 for the Mac and I am sure that the AE team will do their best to have CS6 work well with it. Too good a card to pass up on.

My Quadro killed my ability to use Mettle FreeForm Pro and Shapeshifter (crashes). Chris told me it's a Mac driver issue.
Also, OpticalFlares with the GPU switch on crashes Ae. This is with 10.6.8 and 10.7.2 on my MacPro3,1. VCP tech support told me this is a known issue.
Other than that, it's a champ for working in Pr. I haven't noticed any speed-ups for Ae, but supposedly CS6 will change that.
SafeHarbor had the best price when I bought mine.

I've also read about issues regarding Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and the drivers working together. Anyone know if this has been resolved and there are no problems? I'm assuming it's an older issue, but I've seen comments from just a few months ago.

I'm looking at getting the Mac version of the Quadro 4000 but it looks like there's support for only one monitor.
Is anyone running dual monitors with this card? In conjunction with another card? Is it possible?
I have an AJA Kona3 for broadcast monitoring, but I need the dual display for desktop.
Looking to pull the trigger today if you guys can give some guidance.
Thanks,
Jim
