Computer monitors normally updates at 60hz and that doesn't really mix with 29.97fps that you have or not at all with 25fps like we use here in Europe. If i want to check motion i always use a videomonitor connected to a SDI videoutput. Isn't it just when you look at it on a computer m= onitor that you notice this shakiness? Computer monitors normally updates a= t 60hz and that doesn't really mix with 29.97fps that you have or not a= t all with 25fps like we use here in Europe.=A0
If i want to check motion i always use a videomonitor connected to a S= DI videoutput.

That's good to know. I'll definitely try that out.

In this case, I just answered my own question by taking it into FCP7 and ru= nning it through my Matrox MXO2 LE. Rock solid and looks great. All of the = shakiness I see in QT player (and to a lesser extent in AE) went away.

Not sure why this is so since FCP is based on QT as well.

Thanks,

James
