Not being a heavy 3d guy myself, but one who still keeps an eye on the space, I guess I somehow missed some of the powerful AE to 3ds (and back) workflow stuff. It was actually a conversation I had with Steve Forde last fall that first raised my awareness of what was going on. Fast forward about six months and a few conversations that spanned the NAB timeframe and I was introduced to Gary and Ken.

They were interested to learn of the AE-List and the IMUG community as a whole and I invited them to participate--with the usual caveats that this is a user community and not a PR forum! LOL. I told them I do see 3ds stuff posted here from time to time and I thought having them as part of this community would be a definite win.
