If you need to get it done ASAP then just precomp the solid, duplicate it= and separate out the different masks on different layers. You probably = don't need each mask on its own layer but it means you can use the pan-be= hind tool without limits. Use mattes and layer blending modes instead of= mask modes if you need to in order to retain the original interaction be= tween all the masks. The copy paste method did the same, it was offset when pasted onto a corr= ectly sized solid. I was trying to find a plugin that used mask info to set the matte that w= ay, but they seem to use the channels only, not the mask paths.
