Some UPS systems condition power, some don't. APC, and perhaps other =
companies, call their systems that condition power (and do some other =
stuff) "Smart UPS."

If you depend on your workstation for your livelihood, I think it's =
worth getting a UPS that's better than what you can find at Staples or =
Office Depot.
