I have come to believe in the dictum that you can't have too many backups, even backup power supply backups.

Or, as Robin Williams said, "Redundant?  Redundant. Redundant!"

I've even been considering buying a backup power generator for my home, which is where my office is.  Those are really expensive, especially if large enough to run the HVAC.  I wonder what you Californians do.  You seem to be hit with brown-outs worse than anybody in the USA.
