Hi all,

 

I have the following problem. If I open a finished project from CS5.5 in CS6 (11.0.0 and 11.0.1, win7) and play back a RAM preview a few times, the audio works no longer with the following error message:

 

After Effects warning: Unable to start audio playback. Please confirm your audio device is properly configured or change the driver selection in Preferences: Audio hardware.

 

At most, it happens if I leave AE for a short time (using PS or Illustrator for example).

Is anyone else affected by this problem?

 

In CS5.5 it had always taken a long time before AE started to play back (Locking existing frames). If I create a new project in CS6 from scratch, the audio begins to play immediately without any problems. That's great!!!
