As has also been mentio= ned, there's another caveat regarding VRAM and multiple cards: the GPU-acce= lerated ray-traced 3D renderer will use all of the VRAM of the installed ca= rds... except that it will treat every card in the system as if it has the = amount of VRAM of the least card in the system. E.g., if you have a 1GB car= d and a 4GB card, After Effects will use 1+1=3D2GB total.
