Basically it happe= ns when your ISP thinks that these AE list emails are spam, and so it blo= cks them from you and bounces them back to Rene's server. Because the em= ail to you has bounced back you get an automated warning message. There are a number of reasons that this can happen and some of them are o= ut of yours and Rene's control. You can check with your ISP to see if th= ey have put Rene's server on a blacklist, but what is probably happening = is that the ISP that Rene uses has had a surge of spam come through it, a= nd so your ISP is automatically blocking all emails from it for a set per= iod of time, until the spam levels drop. This is why it happens sporadic= ally. Apart from checking with your own ISP there's not a lot you can do... -Chris -----Original Message----- From: Robert Leigh [mailto:leighs@qwest.net] Sent: Monday, May 28, 2012 12:00 PM To: 'After Effects Mail List' Subject: [AE] Warning message Can anyone tell me why I receive a warning message every couple of days saying I will be removed from the AE list if I don't reply? Which I do. It's just annoying to have to do this so frequently. I've tried contacti= ng the list administrator (Rene) but I've not heard back. Thanks, Robert Leigh
