Red Giant acquired it and rolled it into Instant HD. That was the original plan at least, you'd have to have someone from Red Giant confirm whether the technology did in fact get moved over. Red Giant discontinued it, so there's no further development happening on it. Because of that I would not recommend using it, especially for archival purposes.
