This is a great buyer's guide for those looking at Quadros, but the consumer GTX cards offer similar to even better raw CUDA performance for half the price. In my experience the GTX 580 with 3GB VRAM is a great buy right now, performing 20% faster than the newer gtx 680 in CUDA compute tests with the CS6 11.0.1 update. A 590 would offer even better performance.

And a caveat for those looking to run CUDA on AE with the 680 and the patch update - you'll need to have the older nvidia 301.1 drivers for AE to work (at least I did)
