in pp dupe your sequences so you have a backup
then select all in seq
file>adobe dynamic link>replace with after effect composition
now your sequence is a single layer in PP
and you have all the layers in AE.

Pardon my basic question, but as I transition from FCP to PP I ask myself...is there a way to import the PP sequence into AE the way I could with Automatic Duck from FCP? You know, maintaining all the edits and transitions.
I want to grade in AE because...
I'm stuck in this purgatory of not being able to view work through my Kona3 until AJA releases the new plugins for CS6 – until then the only way I can grade and monitor is through AE. It would seem that Apple Color breaks with the Lion upgrade which is my usual workflow: FCP > Color.
