It was shot in one afternoon on LaSalle St in Chicago down by the Board of Trade (see also: the assassination scene in Dark Knight, Untouchables, etc.) They shot with an Epic and a Scarlet, and had 2 Canon DSLRs for extra coverage. I think 4 or 5 of the shots in the edit came from the Canon. The rest came from the Reds. The director cut it in FCP7, which I conformed in Smoke and graded in Lustre (woo, Flame Premium!) Most of the snow is practical, but there's some Particular snow in there too. The CG meteors, debris and falling clock were created in Maya.

That's really impressive. Can you tell us a little about the project? What was it shot on. What did you grade with. Some really great looks you achieved.

Their 2012 black ale is delicious!
-b I thought since this is not related to Todd's presentation today in Portland I would bring it over to a new thread. There was one brewery that I did a disservice in not mentioning is Stone Brewing. Arrogant Bastard Ale ranks right up there with Dead Guy Ale from Rogue. Both are near and dear to my dark beer drinking heart.
