This again.  I downloaded the 30-day Demo for FontExplorer X Pro= , and I still have scads of fonts showing in red.  And this is after = cleaning all the caches.  When I use the "Reveal in Finder" command o= n a red font, it does nothing, like the link to the font has been lost. &n= bsp; But, I don't see a "relink" command.

Bo= oting back into 10.6.8, most of my fonts are black, as normal, working fin= e.

I suppose I'll have to go ahead and devote a f= ew days to re-installing my fonts on the Lion partition, and re-categorizi= ng them.

If anybody has any ideas on if th= ere's a way to restore or relink to my vast font collection short of start= ing over, I'd be grateful to hear them.

Jim C.

But, I'll try as you suggested before I upgrade. &nbs= p;I'm still a bit wary of Lion.  10.6.8 is working so well.

Thank you,
