| Not sure I agree with that Steve. FCP X may have stunk the house out but there will have been a decent amount of time invested in it. Someone, somewhere believed in it & thought it was a good idea. This offering from Apple is a joke & the only reason I can see for it is that they want to sell off the remainder of the stock under the banner of "New Mac Pro". File along side Xserve. I'm gutted about this because compared to the systems from the other PC resellers, the Mac Pro was a bargain & was the cheapest way to get a dual processor Xeon PC workstation as well as being rock solid with the bonus of the OSX boot.
