The company is obviously headed in a different = direction. Not making a 17 inch MacBook is another indicator. My = optimistic side thinks the fact that they didn't add Thunderbolt or USB3 = gives the stopgap theory more credence. My pessimistic side already = bought a used 8core MacPro 4,1 last month.
If Apple had added those = ports and only given a slight proc bump, everyone would be crying that = the MacPro is dead. If they released nothing, everyone would be crying = the MacPro is dead.
Apple better leak something quick or they're = going to lose some market share.
