As much as I'm disappointed that the Mac Pro writing appears to be on the wall, is anybody (who isn't necessarily at update time in their cycle) even just a TEENSY bit relieved that there isn't any pressure to buy an "update-or-be-left-behind" system? I would love a wildly updated Mac Pro too, and I hate that they're probably going to die off after this version, but I bought two monster Mac Pros last year and spent a bundle maxxing out on RAM, peripherals and better video cards. I am happy to keep a few thou in the bank. So as much as it'd be cool to have a new one, at least I don't look at them with the same disdain as I do my lovely-but-cooler-last-week MBP. To
