I ride a motorcycle, so I'm often carrying helmet, gloves, Intous = tablet, mouse, laptop, extra drive, etc.... The weight does add up (and = no, I don't consider carrying this stuff a workout - it's a hassle). So I get a faster, lighter, higher res laptop that I'll plug-in to an = additional monitor and I'll have a machine that's nearly 3 times faster. = I'm not saying it's the perfect machine for everybody, but you have to = admit your 8 lb behemoth isn't either - And since it's an Apple laptop, I'll sell it in 2 years, get a large = amount of what I paid for it and put it into a new one.
