You've got HP and Boxx = and whoever. But I wouldn't count on HP. Could we see a return to = SGI/Intergraph and HP-UX/Sun days, when a few companies had a clear lead = in professional workstations and were able to charge a LOT for it, or = will the "fleet of FIT's" make enough people happy enough that can't = happen again? Personally, I think the problem with the Monster Truck scenario are the = developers, the vast majority of whom are looking at mass markets, not a = few high-priced customers. Though there was that German company at NAB = that had $20K AE plug-in for tracking and point-clouding 3D scenes.
