Chances are it will be much more compatible with the quadro, with way fewer driver issues. In fact I'm not sure I'd want both ATI and Nvidia drivers installed at once. The new AE update even supports it for CUDA (and it's faster than the 4000, but can use both CUDA cores). I'm assuming you're talking about a mac pro tower, not a PC?
