Hey everyone,

Been dealing with a gnarly issue the past week or so. I'm working on a couple of star fields which I'm generating using a mixture of Form and Particular. The issue I'm having is that as the camera moves/flies through the star field, the stars that are up close to the camera end up being waaaay to large whilst the distant ones disappear. I've been messing around with gradients and using this as a layer map to control the size and it sort of works, but not very well on some of the more complicated shots. So I'm wondering whether there's another way to control the particle size in such a way that the closer a particle is to the camera, the smaller it is? I know this sounds counter-intuitive - stars that are closer SHOULD be larger but the look I'm trying to achieve really requires the stars not to visibly scale up as they come closer (after all, we're talking light-years here).

Thanks for any suggestions,

Jarret
