The “Near Vanish” should kick in before object get large = although of course they disappear. For realism, don’t be afraid of = size. In a real star field, massive distance separate the stars, which = means the chance of any one being close to the = camera.

Use large values  (I’m currently working on building the = universe inside After Effects for my film) – AE supports massive = numbers (quintillion and more) – combined with a very wide angle = lens, go near fish eye and you should not have the = problem.

A film is – or should be – more like music than like = fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, = what’s behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes = later.
