Sounds more like something is moving prefs and config files back and forth. Time Machine or something like that?

Hey everybody,
I've been doing some googling and haven't come up with an answer to a problem I've been running into so I thought I'd throw it out to the group. I'm running Creative Cloud on a Mid 2010 Mac Pro and every so often, mostly when I'm asked to reauthorize my preferences completely reset. I lose any custom output modules, any preference changes. everything custom. It's driving me up the wall and I'm not entirely sure what to do. Anyone else seen this issue?
