The Adobe Bridge interface feels bloated= for what I need to do but these other apps have problems too. If there wer= e developers out here working on that, here are my ESSENTIAL abilities for = the "perfect" application.

My essential features are:

--Interface--
Thumbna= il previews for image, video, text, AI, PSD (including 3D objects), and AE = project files
Different icons for ALL files types (AI, AEP, h264, JPG, = PSD, etc)
List the linked/supporting files for an AE or PSD file
All the normal wa= ys to select and export files

--Features--
Ability to comment whe= n saving
File versioning (and able to choose previous versions by last s= ession, last Thursday, or producer's comment)
Embed EXIF, XMP metadata CORRECTLY (no more unreadable files)
Fast searc= h by type, date, keywords, etc.
Quick string-out video of selected files (for producer reviews)=A0
I don't want something that does EVERYTHING just to add "f= lexibility". Adobe Prelude looks interesting if it handles image files= too but AFAIK there is no program out there that does everything elegantly= . But I don't feel it's worth more than $200-300 to me either (sorr= y, don't have that hundred grand....) - what would it need to do to ge= t your money?
