A couple of more things.
Not sure OpenDCP handles 32-bit TIFFs properly, try 16-bit. Make sure you do
the math correctly on audio and picture to 24.000 fps. Only create a
InteropMXF - SMPTE support is very sketchy around the world and will be
until probably late next year.
EasyDCP Player is not a fail-safe, just an initial check. Unfortunately, the
only way to check is on an actual system - I've seen many packages open on
EasyDCP but fail to ingest. Also, trial player is limited to 15 seconds and
does not do color transformation. Use Stereoscopic Player - very affordable
- to watch your DCP.
> Mount the Harddisk with a mount program to check if it all works.
Be careful mounting on an non-Linux system. The slightest change in a file -
even a single byte (anti-virus, bug in mount app) of any file will cause the
hash-checking on ingest to fail.

A film is - or should be - more like music than like fiction. It should be a
progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what's behind the emotion, the
meaning, all that comes later.
