Thanks for the input.
tru, tiff in 8/12/16 bit !
will contact the editor, to make the edit in 24p, with the audio converted
to it as well !
if correct the DCP server will be a Doremi DCP2000, which is now able to
play 25p as well, but will conform it to 24p.
will check out the linux system mounting.
great to get all of this info, thanks for that Stephen.
Met vriendelijke groet/kind regards,

A couple of more things.
Not sure OpenDCP handles 32-bit TIFFs properly, try 16-bit. Make sure you do
the math correctly on audio and picture to 24.000 fps. Only create a
InteropMXF - SMPTE support is very sketchy around the world and will be
until probably late next year.
EasyDCP Player is not a fail-safe, just an initial check. Unfortunately, the
only way to check is on an actual system - I've seen many packages open on
EasyDCP but fail to ingest. Also, trial player is limited to 15 seconds and
does not do color transformation. Use Stereoscopic Player - very affordable
- to watch your DCP.

Be careful mounting on an non-Linux system. The slightest change in a file -
even a single byte (anti-virus, bug in mount app) of any file will cause the
hash-checking on ingest to fail.

A film is - or should be - more like music than like fiction. It should be a
progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what's behind the emotion, the
meaning, all that comes later.
