I have a total = of four Macs. Three are Intel; one G4 PPC. =20 One of my Mac Pros won't allow me to manually or automatically use 1000base= T, Full-duplex, Jumbo Frames, like the other MacPro, MacBook Pro and Quicks= ilver G4. I can't figure out why. =20 If I go into Network Preferences, Advanced>Hardware tab, and set it to Manu= al with the above settings, it disconnects the Ethernet port. =20 When I switch the IPv4 setting to Automatic, it sets itself to 100baseT, no= t 1000. =20 I'm stumped. Can anybody point me in a direction to fix this? I know my c= able is OK, because the same cable that the MacPro at 100 is on will give m= e 1000 speed with my MacBookPro connected to it. I hope I've explained this clearly. ???? TIA, Jim Curtis . +---End of message---+ To unsubscribe send any message to
