The headless version of Afte= r Effects that is called by Premiere Pro when playing dynamically linked co= mpositions will read from the cache generated by the main After Effects app= lication. CUDA doesn't enter into it unless you're manipulating the composition in Pr= emiere Pro (scaling, frame rate conversion, etc.).
