| I used to fly hang gliders. Being sucked up into the cloud was never good. Isn't this about the fear of change? Fear of the cloud eventually doing away with software media ownership? And with Windows 8 on the horizon, folks on a video editing list I'm on are talking about fear of the end of the mouse in favor of touch screen. Yikes. I think all we want are options, not to have software companies dictating to us. Right now, the options are still there. Will it always be that way? Nothing against cloud licensing as long as the traditional ownership choice is still there. Nothing against touch screen as long as I only have to do it on a phone or tablet, but not on a computer monitor in an edit bay!
