Maybe someone at Adobe does (it is a big company, after all, with all kinds
of people)... but there are a lot more people here that would tell such a
person where to stick it because we are here to make tools that artists want
to buy, not to shaft said artists.

Well it seems my original msg came across in the wrong way. I apologise. It
*was* typed somewhat tongue in check - hence the - ;) at the end. Maybe I
shouldn't have used the word 'ramp' - but it seemed an appropriate AE
connection ;)

I guess the point I was trying to raise was the fact the one 'cost' of
subscription system to the subscriber is the uncertainty of future pricing.
Subscribers need to factor that risk into their decision making.

I have no doubt that there are lots of very customer, service and product
focused people at Adobe - you being a prime example. But that doesn't mean
that Adobe won't set the highest price it can (over the medium term) for the
products and services it offers. Shareholders demand it.
