I changed a position keyframe on a precomp from a horizontal move to a vertical one. Yet, in the main comp, the horizontal move is persisting, and this is even after invoking a Purge All. If you have a reproducible case with a specific effect, we want to know about it so that we can work with the maker of that plug-in to update the plug-in (or fix the bug on our side if that's where it is). > > ________________________________________ > From: After Effects Mail List [AE-List@media-motion.tv] On Behalf Of Jack Tunnicliffe [jack@javapost.ca] > Sent: Friday, July 27, 2012 12:02 PM > To: After Effects Mail List > Subject: Re: [AE] weird > > What's the effect, Jim. I have noticed this kind of behavior with certain effects, Sapphire lens flare, for instance, which doesn't update properly. Try changing a parameter on the effect in the pre comp and see if that forces the main comp to update. > > Jack Tunnicliffe > Java Post Production > www.javapost.ca > > > > On Jul 27, 2012, at 12:51 PM, Jim Curtis wrote: > >> I just noticed this behavior for the second time in two days. I put an effect on a layer in a precomp. I switch to the master comp containing the precomp, and the effect isn't showing up. I go back to the precomp, and there it is. Back to the master comp, and it's missing. I quit Ae, relaunch, then the effect shows up in the master comp. >> >> Is anybody else seeing this? >> >> Ae CS6, MacPro 10.7.4. >> >> +---End of message---+ >> To unsubscribe send any message to > > > +---End of message---+ > To unsubscribe send any message to > > +---End of message---+ > To unsubscribe send any message to
