I can say that I am really happy with my Dell u2410. At 500.00, they offer =
billions of colors, rotation, and tons of connectivity options. I have thre=

 every month or so, but I just had an asus PA256Q Pro-Art monitor wake up w=
ith a huge "splotch" - a darkened yellowish patch in dead center of the mon=
itor, along with some kind of "tear" in the panel behind the main screen (l=
ooks like an inch-long scratch but is beneath the actual surface of the pan=
el). And no, I didn't scratch it or clean it with battery acid, etc. To Asu=
s's credit I already have an RMA with free shipping set up, and I bought th=
is monitor as a refurb on ebay for $350 (originally $600+) so they have rea=
lly great customer service and honored the 3 year warranty. But after using=
 the Pro-Art for several months I have to say it is just blown away by the =
Eizo CG222W I have in a side-by-side comparisons. I am highly suspect of th=
eir claims it is true 10-bit color. Of course the Eizo was 3x more expensiv=
e, but still. Anyway I'm looking for a new 24" panel and the RMA'd one will=
 go on my
 non-mission-critical workstation. I have heard great things about Dell's a=
nd HP dreamcolor panels, but not really looking to spend over $1,000 if I c=
