| If you are doing, file>Adobe Dynamic Link>Import After Effects comp, I don't see how this problem would be possible since the rendering is all done within After Effects.
"Replace with After Effects Comp" moves some of PR's sequence settings over to the After Effects comp using our "Import Premiere Project" code, but that information doesn't seem relevant right now.
Feel free to email aebugs*@* adobe.com your after effects project and I can try myself. thanks, Dan Ramirez

Started with an existing AE project so I performed the import function.
Now I am trying the replace method with another to see what happens.
Thanks guys for chiming in.

Can you elaborate a bit?
Did you "replace with after effects composition"? or did you "import after effects composition"?
Totally new to this workflow so it's probably me, but it appears that blend modes are not coming over to Premiere from AE correctly.
Import new ae comp, sequence settings match comp settings but background elements are dark.
Can anyone verify this?
Thanks
