If I understand the method correctly, I'd have to copy all my Ai vectors and paste to masks in Ae, one group at a time. Then do my voodoo in Element. Another tricky part seems to be matching official client colors. Other than writing down RGB values in Ai and entering manually in Element, I don't see a way in the Element tutorials to assign proper colors to Element layers (such as an eyedropper I can click on an external Ai file. I don't have, nor do I want a 3D app to make an obj file to export to Element. I have Invigorator Pro 6, but the Element demos make it look much faster, once you get your layer groups into Element. And that looks like the hardest part. Any thoughts? I don't see a download trial for Element on the VCP site. Did I overlook the link? Jim C.
