| Note that you can use the new feature in After Effects CS6 to convert Illustrator assets to shape layers. If you need masks (as you suggested), it's a quick hop through a script to convert shapes to masks. >I'd have to copy all my Ai vectors and paste to masks in Ae, one group at a time. |
