If you don't want any more 3D in your life, but you do want Element's speed, Zaxwerks Invigorator will export your OBJ logos from AE, and then Element can read them in to AE.  I mean, you already own it. just learn how. 
The modeler in Invigorator is just great.

that's not really that difficult, you can do multiple paths into shape layer paths at once, you just need to create as many shape layer paths as you have vector paths, and make sure the path properties are twirled down when pasting back and forth.

So you refuse to learn about using 3D but you want a 3D animation? Sketchup can export .obj files and it's free. Or why not just hire someone else to do it? Element isn't going to automatically do all the magic for you. You gotta put in SOME effort. :D
