Hi,

Sorry for being a bit dim but are you shooting real-life elements that you = want to make look water coloury? =A0Or are you shooting genuine watercolour= s?

I have a watercolour-style transition on my website:

http://chriszwar.com/wordpress/2009/02/watercol= our-wipe-revised-updated/

I made it so long ago it would take me a few minutes to decipher it, but th= e basic approach was to have a few layers distorted with vector blur, and t= hen texturise the whole lot so it feels as though the image is part of the = paper, and not just stuck on top with a blending mode.

Have a play with vector blur that uses slowly animating fractal noise as th= e source.

Is that what you're after?

we have to shoot some elements for a watercolory-looking spot. I imagine I'll be using a bunch of stills and scanned textures, but it would be n= ice
to get some footage as well. Does anyone have any tips on how to get the ink to 'move.' I remember trying this myself in the past, and i cou= ldn't
really get the ink to do much of anything.
