that's generally how I handle a motion project I'm handing off. lots of notes. I was speaking more about the stitching. FWIW, I stumbled on a Red Giant TV episode that showed Harry Frank using warp for Projection Mapping. I think it's going to work for creating layers that I can go and clean up and reposition in 3D space. Thankful the proejcted area is a fairly simple set.

Not sure how you are assembling it, but when I build templates to hand off I will just Precomp with leave attributes on. This gives me the final look in the main comp and the raw source in a Precomp. If needed I also add guides in the Precomp to mark extremes and boundaries and such. Text layers (set to guide layers) with notes and directions.

Hey all, I'm working on some 3D projection mapping for one of our current projects and I need to be able to stitch the background. Trying to create extra versatility for the team I have to pass it off to because I don't know the eventual camera move they'll use. Does anyone know of a process a/la MochaImport/Red Giant Warp to create an undistorted precomp for the various surfaces based on the camera projection?
