Check out my blog www.helloluxx.com for free tutorials in many things C4D.  Not updated as frequently as I'd like but still plenty of small tips and tricks to keep you going.

cheers

I highly recommend Cineversity but not just for the online training. There's a forum for subscribers that's watched diligently by Maxon staff (Dr. Sassi has helped me quite a few times.)

The great thing about it is when you're struggling to figure out the best way to approach something, you can post a question and usually within hours someone from Maxon has not only answered the question but put up a scene file or two illustrating different possible ways of doing it. They've offered to help me troubleshoot my scene files as well. It's way better than tech support, and I've always gotten a very helpful response(s) within 24 hours (several times it was within an hour - with scene files!). In practice it's as if you have your own personal tutor on call - and for me it's paid for itself many times over. Also, in the past they've offered renewal discounts where it's only $99.00 to add on another year.

FXPHD is good as well.

In my experience, Cineversity has some really solid training.  Lynda is great for getting your feet wet, but I would really suggest checking out the former option when you start getting deeper into specific tools and features.

Hope it works out well for you!

I'm getting ready to purchase 2 licenses of the broadcast bundle for work, to use with AE. I've never used Cinema 4D. It's been a few years since I've done any 3D and that was on Softimage XSI. I know this isn't a Cinema 4D forum, but I have two questions.  Once I get it, I'll find a forum.

1. Is the service agreement per license or do I just need to buy 1?
2. Is the $295.00 training videos from Maxon worth it, or should I just go to Lynda.com or something else?

Thanks,
