| So i have been working on an AE project with about 50 3d layers, nothing crazy. 2011 MBP with 2.2GHz i7. It has been a little painful waiting on previews, etc. my internal SSD is pretty small at 120 in 2 partitions, 40 and 80GB. 40 for the system and apps, 80 for some work. So i moved my cache to the SSD to try and see if it would help. CRAP! Made working much much more acceptable. Things that were taking 1-5 minutes, now take seconds.
