Dual GPU cards in the past have had bad price:performance, as well as being noisy power hogs. Does that extra $750 include a sturdy enough PSU to run the thing? I have 2 580's in my rig at home and the thing sounds like a wind turbine! Also, please correct me if I'm wrong as we're not on CS6 yet, but isn't the only part of AE that uses CUDA the 3d raytrace renderer? I think Genarts plugins might take advantage too, but again I'm guessing that's not an issue here. $.02, Brian On Wed, Aug 29, 2012 at 5:00 PM, Teddy Gage wrote: > Brian what are you basing that opinion on?
