| A while back I asked about scaling HD footage to 5k. We are working on something for the Montreal Canadiens Hall of Fame Theatre (5000 pixels x 1080). We had about 15 minutes worth of 1080HD footage to up-rez, reframe etc. Many of you chimed in with some excellent suggestions. Thanks Todd K. at Adobe suggested we try Premiere Pro CS6 for scaling. We found it very fast and almost good enough for what we are doing. In the end RGS Resizer won out. No where near as fast but the results were well worth the render times. DeNoiser 2 was key too and re:visionfx Fieldskit helped the process quite a bit too. HTH, Cheers, Chris Mettle.com Skype: Mettlecom |
