RJ ... I'm having a weird problem on my home system - Photoshop (cs 6) and Illustrator (cs 5 & 6) are launching just fine - however when I open a file (I've tried a couple different files) they lock up and I get the spinning beach ball of death and I have to force quit. AE (cs 6) is working fine and I can open files in AE that wouldn't open in PS or ILL so it isn't the files - Has anyone had this problem? and or is it a cache/preference I need to clear - I have tried creating a new file in ILL and it creates one just fine it just won't open an existing file. I'm on a i7 imac running system 10.6.8 and all my adobe apps are up to date.
