I don't know if you are familiar with how Re:Flex or other morphing = applications work, but you need to help the software out with = correspondence points and the merging of those points. To make it = simple, you want the eyes of subject A to line up with the eyes of = subject B and the mouth of subject A to line up with the mouth of = subject B.=20 To do this you would line the two photos up as close as you can to begin = with. Then for any components of the photo that do not match, use some = sort of morphing tool to move A to meet with B and a dissolve from one = image to the other combined with the morph. What tools do you already = have in AE that you could use for this, well how about CC Smear, for = instance. You can designate an area to move, adjust the radius of the = control point, in this case the size of an eye and move it from point A = to point B over time.=20 If a round control point doesn't work for repositioning the mouth or = let's say the hairline, then what about mesh warp set to a very fine = grid or Freeform? It might take you a little more work to manipulate = these areas but it can be done.=20 Give this a try. I'm sure you'll have decent results.
