I use Re:Flex and many of those other fine products from Re:Vision but if I was stuck to try and figure out how to do a morph without those tools, here's what I would try and I'll be it would work.
I don't know if you are familiar with how Re:Flex or other morphing applications work, but you need to help the software out with correspondence points and the merging of those points. To make it simple, you want the eyes of subject A to line up with the eyes of subject B and the mouth of subject A to line up with the mouth of subject B.
To do this you would line the two photos up as close as you can to begin with. Then for any components of the photo that do not match, use some sort of morphing tool to move A to meet with B and a dissolve from one image to the other combined with the morph. What tools do you already have in AE that you could use for this, well how about CC Smear, for instance. You can designate an area to move, adjust the radius of the control point, in this case the size of an eye and move it from point A to point B over time.
If a round control point doesn't work for repositioning the mouth or let's say the hairline, then what about mesh warp set to a very fine grid or Freeform? It might take you a little more work to manipulate these areas but it can be done.
Give this a try. I'm sure you'll have decent results.

It usually happens when you have lots of folders nested inside each other, but can also happen if your directories and files have very long names. The solution is to either re-name the offending file with a shorter name, or if it happens a lot, then reduce the number of folders that are nested inside each other.
