yeah I wasn't a huge fan of it
when I decided to switch from mouse to tablet this was the first thing I went for due to the price, it definitely has a cheaper feel than the Wacom Intuos line and the pen that comes with it isn't great but they sell an alternate one for a low price that I preferred.
My huge issue with it though was I couldn't get my cursor to be steady for precession moves at all, I tweaked every setting possible but could never get it down, even tried it on a different computer and it had the same effect.  I spend most of my day in FCP7 and it was a nightmare adding keyframes to my audio waveform, every time I clicked using the pen tool it would add the keyframe but due to the instability of the cursor it would also shift my levels randomly.
at first I assumed it was just because it was my first time using a tablet, but I switched to a Wacom Intuos and immediately could tell a difference and my shaky pointer tool problem disappeared.

to be fair I didn't try getting a replacement monoprice one, so there is a chance I just had a faulty model.  For a lot of people the monoprice one would probably work just fine, but I definitely don't regret spending the money for the wacom one.
