Yes, we have the 4000 in one of our machines now and we were disappointed in the performance. We expected much better from it. As it turns out this suite is used for conforming shows so it is not as mission critical. Moving forward we want the best performance for the rooms where we need performance. I know I asked the engineers at Davinci about the 570's in the past and it was not recommended for our set-up. That was a long time ago so I can't remember why. Anyway, we will test the new and available soon.

i swapped my q4000 for the gtx570.Much better performance. you could probably get 2 GTX570s and an GPU power supply for the price of a new Q4000 if you have room in your macpro That setup would be around 4x faster
